Dear Colleagues,

It's my great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the 8th Annual Conference of Society of Neurovascular Interventions to be held in the vibrant city of Delhi at Hotel Andaz, Aerocity, from 13-15 June, 2025.

This annual conference of the youngest subspeciality of Neurosciences is for the first time being held in New Delhi, capital of India. This unique meeting will bring together renowned experts, pioneers, and young professionals from around the globe, sharing their experiences in furiously advancing field Neurovascular Intervention. During these three days, we will delve into cutting-edge research, pioneering surgical techniques, and advancements in medical technologies that are revolutionizing practise of Neurovascular Interventions. The prestigious Professor Luc Picard Memorial Oration will be delivered by Professor Michihiro Tanaka from Japan, who has a contributed immensely to development of Neurointervention in Japan and all across Asia.

Friends, not only will this conference offer the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in our field, but it also takes place in one of the most historically rich and culturally vibrant cities in the world. Delhi is a city that offers a unique blend of the ancient and the modern, a true symbol of India's diversity. Delhi has been rebuilt and destroyed multiple times, and historians refer to the "Seven Cities of Delhi". The delegates will have the opportunity to explore the historical monuments of the city. From the awe-inspiring Akshardham Temple, New Parliament or central Vista, Delhi is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites that narrate the city's storied past like Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb to the majestic Red Fort, Delhi is a paradise for food lovers. It is famous for it's street food – from chaat to paranthas, and the delightful Mughlai cuisine. Of course Delhi is well known for shopping and markets as well. Whether it's the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, the modern malls, or the colourful bazaars of Janpath, there's something for everyone to take home.
